Outside my window… little lambs! This is the first time I’ve seen them outside of the barn.
I am thinking… of my to-dos for the week. It’s going to be busy.
I am thankful… for family. For everybody who came out for my grandmother’s funeral, got the work done, made it beautiful, and created time for each other.
In the kitchen… I’m planning to have a salad every day this week. With lunch or dinner, it doesn’t matter, but I need to get some more veggies in me.
I am wearing… old jeans, new tee.
I am creating… new laundry systems.
I am going… nowhere tonight! The weekend is over and errands are done.
I am wondering… what I’ve gotten myself into, signing up for bootcamp! I start tomorrow – yikes.
I am reading… Reminiscences, Remedies & Recipes which was written by Langley senior citizens and published as a fundraiser for Langley Meals on Wheels. I’m loving it so far and there are lots of recipes I’m looking forward to trying.
I am hoping… to get some garden things planted in the next couple of days.
I am looking forward to… May! It’s time for some sunshine around here.
I am learning… how to put together product ads and mailings for work. I enjoy it, but there’s lots to play around with and figure out still.
Around the house… I’m making slow progress on decluttering and giving things away. It feels liberating.
I am pondering… How to organize new volunteers for church school next year, and who else to ask for help!
The Mr. is… awesome. He got me through a difficult week and rocked the child care (we were looking after 3 little kids… 2 dogs… 2 guinea pigs… 2 households… many chickens).
A favorite quote for today… I’ve been listening to a Paul McCartney CD all weekend. I can not stop singing “Accentuate the positive. Eliminate the negative. Latch on to the affirmative, and don’t mess with Mr. In-Between.”
One of my favorite things… A new(ish) tea I found by Tetley called Perk. That’s right, it’s got extra caffeine. I am not a coffee fan, but I’m appreciating the extra boost of Perk these days.
A few plans for the rest of the week: A Dr. appointment, a visit, and lots of workouts. I will go to bootcamp as often as possible and walk on the other days. It’s time to get healthy again.
